Heather spent July 15-19th doing mission work:
The highlights include:
Praying the rosary daily
Serving Sammamish by painting fences
Assisting the elderly by weeding and yard work
Setting up a food bank by hauling and organizing food donations for migrant workers
Working in a factory, packing corn for Northwest Harvest
Mission JOY is a combination of service day trips with two overnights, offering quality time for learning, service, and prayer. The program gets young people involved in service, and provides them with the learning and reflection opportunities needed to transform ordinary service into a discipleship event.
