Great Services in and around Sammamish, WA

Sammamish Nails is now Issaquah Nails!

To my surprise this morning when I walked into Sammamish Nails, I was greeted by a man and saw the entire business had changed!

Last week, I called to make an appointment and just got a ring tone.  The business was sold and was transformed into Issaquah Nails.

Same phone number,  (425) 898-7461 but your friendly ladies of Sammamish Nails are no longer there. The business, still located next to Safeway and is now being run by Issaquah Nails, another local business that is located in the Papa John’s/Papa Murphy’s/Subway mall across from Key Bank in Sammamish.

The facility has a new make over: a whole wall of new massage chairs for pedicures, marble top areas for manicures and private rooms for waxing.

Downside: They could not honor my gift certificate, which was recently purchased as a birthday gift.

How things change in a year?  My original post below for my own business, Sammamish Nails and Savory Moments that have gone out of business or sold to new businesses.

Small Hands on Art by Howie and Amy McOmber are still in business and continue to do a fabulous job!  We will be looking forward to 2012 summer productions at Blackwell.

Original Post in Summer of 2011:

This summer I am celebrating my 10th year as a Creative Memories Consultant.  You can find me on Facebook and Twitter. As someone who runs their business by referrals, I like to tout some of my favorite businesses in the area.   These are some of my personal favorites and would like to see them stick around for a long time!

Sammamish Nails (next to Safeway) (425) 898-7461– a few times, over this past school year, I took 1 hour and 1 friend over to Sammamish Nails for a pedicure, $25.  It was fantastic to chat and relax in their massage chairs.  I was sad to see how empty is was there on the last day of school.   So, if you want to relax and get ready for a sunny summer, grab a friend or your husband, and take 1 hour for yourself and help out our local business!

Savory Moments is now Taste of Amazing – (behind Pomegranate in Redmond)

I have been promoting Savory Moments (previously Month of Meals) for over 11 years; it’s chef prepared dinners and an open retail of grab-and-go, has now been aquired by Taste of Amazing.   Athough, I have yet to purchase from TofA, I used to order online to stock my freezer, other times I might stop in and pick up a few things.   It’s perfect to pick up a chef prepared pasta salad or a gourmet dessert (instead of stopping in at Whole Foods or some other grocer).   Prices are comparable.  And with school and soccer season coming up,  I plan on having a several meals on hand; some for the whole family, others just for me or Greg.   Our favorites: Baby Back Ribs, Bourbon Chicken and Coconut Chicken Fingers and any of the Salmon recipes!
