Hot Crab Dip
prep: 10 mins cook: 15-20 mins total time: 30 mins
1/3 CUP PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED (or Romano)
1 CUP MAYONNAISE
8 OZ DUNGENESS CRAB
13 OZ ARTICHOKE HEARS, WELL DRAINED, COARSELY CHOPPED
TORTILLA CHIPS AND BREAD CUBES FOR DIPPING
GREEN ONION FOR GARNISH, OPTIONAL
CAYENNE PEPPER FOR GARNISH
- Heat oven to 375°
- Combine mayo and cheese with whisk in small bowl
- Add crab and chopped artichoke
- Split into two ramekins bowls (shown)
- Bake for 10-15 minutes uncovered, until brown on top and heated through; I usually broil for 1-2 minutes
- Optional: garnish with onions and cayenne pepper.
- Serve with tortilla chips and/or bread.
