Hot Crab Dip – December 2016

Hot Crab Dip

prep: 10 mins  cook: 15-20 mins  total time: 30 mins

1/3 CUP PARMESAN CHEESE, GRATED (or Romano)
1 CUP MAYONNAISE
8 OZ DUNGENESS CRAB
13 OZ ARTICHOKE HEARS, WELL DRAINED, COARSELY CHOPPED

TORTILLA CHIPS AND BREAD CUBES FOR DIPPING
GREEN ONION FOR GARNISH, OPTIONAL
CAYENNE PEPPER FOR GARNISH

  1. Heat oven to 375°
  2. Combine mayo and cheese with whisk in small bowl
  3. Add crab and chopped artichoke
  4. Split into two ramekins bowls (shown)
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes uncovered, until brown on top and heated through; I usually broil for 1-2 minutes
  6. Optional: garnish with onions and cayenne pepper.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips and/or bread.
