The referees have a lot to watch on the field and ultimately it’s their call, and they have studied this rule.
As a former referee, it’s not helpful when you have anyone on the sidelines yelling at you. I am asking the parents of my teams to refrain from calling out to the referees and making calls from the sidelines.
