Last year, I was honored to work with Heather’s 8th grade class on several projects, throughout the entire year. I feel blessed to get to know all of the students in her class.
As a surprise to me, at the end of the year, I was given 26 beautiful thank you cards, all hand-drawn, thoughtfully created by this artistic group of students. During February 2015, as “my birthday month” gift to myself, I have been re-reading one of these cards every day. On Friday, the 13th, I opened this card and thought it was appropriate for Valentine’s Day. The artist did not sign the card, but made a self-portrait of herself surrounded by hearts. Inside some of the hearts, lists all of the events that I helped the class with, this past year.
I just love it!
